Who Needs to Apply for MDAC?
Foreign visitors generally need to complete MDAC unless they fall within an official exempt category. This includes tourists and business visitors arriving by air, land or sea.
Being able to travel visa-free, or holding a Malaysian visa, does not by itself make you exempt. See the full eligibility and exemption list.
When to Complete MDAC
The traveler's trip must be within 3 days, including the date of submission. MDAC is meant to be completed in the days just before you travel.
Please make sure your arrival date and other travel details are accurate before you submit.
What Information Do You Need?
MDAC asks for four kinds of information: personal and passport details, contact details, travel details and accommodation details. You should also have details of your accommodation in Malaysia.
